Milwaukee Hole Saws are constructed with 3/16" thick steel backs on 1-1/2" diameter and larger. Smaller diameters have backs thicker than 3/16". Thick backs eliminate the need for driving plates and prevent drive pin holes from elongating. Our saws also feature bi-metal construction and the high-speed steel teeth are electron beam welded to a steel body. Our hole saws feature a high alloy steel body construction for longer life. Our saws are shatter resistant, vibrate less for smoother cuts and feature faster, more aggressive cutting plus heat resistant cobalt
